Where scientific methodology and artistic creation cross-pollinate — precise observation, spatial reasoning, and visual abstraction.

Throughout history, scientific methodology and artistic creation have cross-pollinated, driven by shared demands for precise observation, spatial reasoning, and visual abstraction.

Conceptually, my work draws on physics, chemistry, computer science, ultrastructural anatomy, molecular biology, Surrealism, and Constructivism, among other sources. In this context the work can rightly be characterized as allegorical landscapes — even mental landscapes — combining analog draftsmanship in pen-and-ink drawings and custom brush-and-ink symbols, original digital photography, written typographical characters, and digital composition.

The final culmination of each piece is composed digitally and realized through the archival dye sublimation printing process on aluminum, whose luminosity and depth are integral to the finished work.
